Leadruption Summit · Friday 10 July 2026

Leadership decisions don't fail because leaders are unkind. They fail because there's no standard.

A one-day Summit for leaders ready to stop hoping their decisions are good enough, and start operating against a standard that holds up.

Most leaders are well-intentioned.

Most leaders are also under-informed about the consequences of their own decisions.

That gap, between intent and impact, between what we mean and what actually lands, is where leadership currently fails.

And it's failing at scale.

In 2024 alone, the SEC issued 760 enforcement actions resulting in $8.2 billion in penalties, the majority stemming from leadership decisions that prioritised short-term gains over ethical standards. Boards are now demanding "auditable processes and enforceable standards" for AI decisions. The Post Office. Carillion. Boeing. Every major institutional failure of the last decade traces back to the same thing: leadership decisions that didn't hold up to scrutiny.

The leadership industry has spent thirty years training capability. What the moment now requires is a standard.

A day-long interactive session for leaders carrying real influence.

The first Leadruption Summit is built around one central argument:

The standard of your leadership decisions is the standard of your leadership.

Across the day we'll work through three domains of leadership decision-making: Internal, External, Relational drawing on the Informed Leadership Standard, current research on responsible leadership, and the lived practice of the leaders in the room.

This isn't a webinar. It's not a tour of frameworks. It's a working day, structured around the decisions you're actually carrying right now.

You'll leave with:

  • A clearer view of where your own leadership decisions hold up — and where they don't
  • A working understanding of what a recognised standard for leadership decisions actually requires
  • Two facilitated roundtables surfacing the decisions you're currently avoiding
  • A pathway into the Informed Leadership Standard if you want to continue the work

This Summit is for you if:

  • You're a senior leader, founder, or business owner carrying decisions that affect people, culture, or outcomes, and you sometimes wonder if you're getting them right
  • You're an HR Director or People leader scoping leadership development for 2027 and looking for something with more rigour than another competency framework
  • You're a coach, consultant, or independent practitioner working towards becoming a leading authority, and you want a standard to anchor your own practice against
  • You're a school, charity, or public-sector leader making decisions under scrutiny, and you're wanting something different to standards "leadership development"

This Summit is not for you if you're looking for life hacks, hustle culture, or "lead with your strengths" content. The argument here is harder than that.

The Informed Leadership Standard is the first professional standard built specifically for leadership decision-making — an eight-layer capability framework with an independent audit, certification pathway, and ongoing CPD programme. Leaders are certified against the standard rather than against their own self-declaration.

The Summit is the beginning, not the end.

Friday 10 July is the first event in the Leadruption Summit programme. The full year ahead:

  • Monday 13 July 2026Leadruption Forum — free follow-up reflection event, 18.30–19.45 BST, featuring Liz Baitson on relationships, networking, and the work of connection.
  • 5–6 November 2026Leadruption Summit 2 — Q4 reflection, planning into 2027. Two-day format.
  • 25–26 February 2027Leadruption Summit 3 — opening 2027 with the standard at the centre.

ILS Standard Membership (£55/month or £550/year + VAT) gives you ongoing access to all public Summits, two members-only CPD days per year, the Informed Leadership Audit, and the certification pathway.

The Summit itself is one day. The standard is a way of working.

The argument for a standard is being made everywhere right now.

Regulators are making it. Boards are making it. Stakeholders are making it.

The question is whether you'll arrive at it on your own terms — or be forced to it by the consequences of the decisions you've already made.

  • The first Leadruption Summit is Friday 10 July 2026.
  • Fifty seats.
  • Founding rate, never offered again.

9–10 July 2026 · Online

The quality of your leadership determines the quality of your results.

Where results meet responsibility.

Most leaders are trying to fix performance without fixing the conditions that produce it. Trust. Better decisions. Stronger relationships. Healthier cultures & communities. Higher performance follows, in that order.

Two days. The professional Standards for responsible leadership. For leaders who refuse to keep treating the symptoms.

Responsible leaders the future can trust.
The cost of getting this wrong

Uninformed leadership has a price. Are you are already paying for it?

Leadership influence has outpaced the standards governing it. The gap is not theoretical, it shows up in the numbers, in retention, in reputation, and in the conversations that didn't happen until they had to.

Trust
Lost between intention and impact. Rebuilt slowly, if at all.
Retention
Your best people leave for reasons you only learn at the exit interview.
Reputation
Built over years. Damaged in days. Often by leadership that meant well.
Decision quality
Choices made under pressure that the leader could not have made calm.
Innovation
Suppressed when it isn't safe to be wrong out loud.
Cultures
Shaped by leadership behaviour under pressure, not by the values statement on the wall.

Each of these is measurable. Each of these compounds. None of these is fixed by a leadership development programme that treats the symptoms.

The shift

Leadership carries influence.
With influence comes responsibility.

Informed Responsible Trusted

Trusted leadership emerges when leaders integrate human psychological understanding with the responsible use of power. Across two days, the summit works each of the three dimensions in turn, taught, tested in the room, and translated into the practice your organisation actually needs.

01 · Internal

Psychological Insight

Make better decisions under pressure.

Understanding people, behaviour and the human impact of leadership decisions. Self-leadership before you lead others. The leader the room never sees is the one who determines what the room becomes.

02 · External

Power & Responsibility

Hold authority without unintentionally damaging trust.

Using leadership authority ethically while delivering meaningful results. The stance you choose to take publicly. Intent versus impact. Accountability without humiliation.

03 · Relational

Trusted Leadership Practice

Lead the conversations that actually change culture, communities & relationship.

The behaviours that build trust, safety and responsible outcomes, in everyday practice, not in policy statements. Difficult conversations held early. Cultures shaped by what leaders model, not what they declare.

The two days

Two days. One arc.
From the standard to the practice.

Three sections - Internal Leadership, External Leadership, Relational Leadership - illustrated by senior contributors, then facilitated roundtable sessions on the conversations and decisions that actually move outcomes.

Day 1 · The Argument
Thursday 9 July

Internal & External Leadership

  • 01
Opening provocation & audience voice The gap, named. What you most need leadership to change, captured live.
  • 02
Internal block How leaders make better decisions under pressure. Doctrine plus expert sessions. Audience-active roundtable to close.
  • 03
External block How leaders hold authority without unintentionally damaging trust. The accountability gap, from multiple angles.
You leave with A clear diagnostic on where your own leadership is creating or eroding the conditions for results, and what to change Monday.
Day 2 · The Practice
Friday 10 July

Relational Leadership & The Standard

  • 04
Relational block How leaders lead conversations that change culture. Speakers, fireside on community leadership, audience-active roundtable.
  • 05
Roundtable sessions Hands-on: difficult conversations, intent versus impact, accountability without humiliation. You leave with usable tools.
  • 06
The Standard & the pathway The full Informed Leadership Standard. The certification pathway. Your next step. Your commitment.
You leave with The practice, the standard, and the path to becoming an ILS Certified Leader - if that's where you take it next.

The Informed Leadership Standards

Responsible leadership is not claimed. It is developed, evidenced and recognised.

Leadership is one of the few professions still operating without a defined professional standard for responsible practice. The Informed Leadership Standards exist to establish one.

ILS operates as a professional standards body for responsible leadership. The standard defines the knowledge, awareness and behaviours leaders must demonstrate to exercise influence responsibly.

Certification recognises leadership practice that is demonstrated, not self-declared. Leaders who progress through the pathway and meet the assessment criteria are recognised as ILS Certified Leaders — and join a movement of responsible leaders the future can trust.

This summit is the entry point. Attendance opens the pathway.

The Eight Leadership Capability Layers

01Self-Leadership & Nervous System Regulation
02Relational & Psychological Safety Leadership
03Power, Authority & Ethical Leadership
04Trauma-Informed & Harm-Aware Leadership
05Equality, Diversity, Inclusion & Identity Safety
06Systems Awareness, Results & Impact
07Ethical AI, Data & Future-Ready Leadership
08Challenge, Change, Coaching & Complex Leadership Conversations

Six Senior contributors.

Each contributor is mapped to a specific dimension of the Informed Leadership Model

Chosen for evidenced practice

leadership practice, ethical AI, inclusion & community leadership

Curated for depth

honesty, lived experience & meaningful contribution.

Why Leadruption?

→ 81% of consumers need to trust a brand before they buy

→ 87% will pay more for brands they trust

→ 79% of leaders think they've earned trust — only 52% of customers agree

→ 86% say company values are clearly communicated — only 44% say they're consistently demonstrated

→ Just 24% of employees believe their company always lives up to its stated values

→ 50%+ of long-form LinkedIn posts are now likely AI-written — and 46% trust a brand less when they find out AI was used where they assumed human

The single sharpest one for the close is the trust gap: 79% vs 52%. That's the say-do gap in one line — and the whole reason the room exists.

The old models don’t work.

Leadruption is the antidote.

It’s where leadership is redefined

not as power over others, but as result driven responsible leadership.

This event will not be just about theory, but about lived experience, disruptive conversations, and co-creating what leadership must become if we are to thrive as humans, organisations, and societies.

Expect an event designed to disrupt old models and spark new ways of leading.

leadruption Roundtables
